Workshops

Our workshops are an essential aspect of our organisation. These would be impossible without the generosity of others, through which our important work in educating women is made easily accessible and available.

At WHEN, we offer a variety of educational and exercise-based workshops for all ages and across a range of conditions. We deliver these in person AND digitally.

If you would like to discuss workshops available to you and your work team or family, please contact us at info@when.org.au.

Reviews

“The content should be being included in mainstream curriculum for both boys and girls from at least Grade 6 if not earlier, so that it becomes part of our routine. It is important to have this knowledge way before now, but it is never too late.”

“It was a fabulous workshop and the presentation was exceptional. It was no nonsense and to the point using proper terminology with no embarrassment. The information was both surprising, enlightening and even a little bit frightening. “

“I recently attended the pelvic floor workshop and found it most informative, I found the talk was delivered in a manner which allowed me to feel relaxed and it was excellent. The knowledge I have gain has been so beneficial to me and to know with simple changes in my life I can improve my control over this area. It has given me a lot of confidence especially as I am in an older age group.“ - LN

“Women’s health is a very important part of general health but many women are either not aware of terminology or reluctant to share problems they may be experiencing. I think all age groups would benefit from Women’s forums about health not just older people. In order to discuss topics, women need to be comfortable within the group. I would like regular opportunities to chat to other women in a relaxed environment as we did in the workshop.” - LW

“I attended the workshop run by Peta, It was excellent! Peta has a wonderful presentation manner and kept our small group interested and engaged the entire time. She brought along several visual aids and samples which enhanced her explanation. Her talk was interesting, informative and extremely helpful. I was surprised to learn that my problem was more common than I had thought and that provided some consolation. I look forward to a follow-up session in the near future.” - EB

I participated in the workshop at WHEN headquarters and thoroughly enjoyed the session. I learnt much about my body and had things explained to me in a way that made it easy to understand. Peta was patient will all of us and took time to make us all comfortable. Peta is an exceptionally good communicator. Thank you and I highly recommend the workshop to anyone considering it in the future.- RJ
